Appointments
Writing center appointments are offered in person and remotely. We have 3 ways you can have an appointment: (1) in person, (2) online, and (3) e-tutoring.
We offer both 30- and 45-minute slots for In-person and Online appointments.
(1) In-person Appointments
In-person appointments take place in the writing center in Love Library Dome, Room LA 1103. Please check in with the person at the front desk when you arrive and they will assist you in finding your tutor. If you make this kind of appointment, you will need to bring your writing and any writing prompt or information about the assignment with you so that you can discuss it with a tutor.
(2) Online Appointments
Online (or “real time”) appointments are synchronous and take place during our regular hours, using our tutoring system WCOnline. If you make this kind of appointment, you will need to log in for the appointment through WCOnline about 5 minutes before your appointment begins.

(3) E-tutoring Appointments
E-tutoring appointments are asynchronous and offer you the opportunity to receive feedback from a tutor when you submit your paper on our e-tutoring schedule. Your appointment can be scheduled Sunday through Thursday, and your paper will need to be attached to your appointment. Your tutor will then download your paper and begin responding the following day. You will receive your response via email (and also linked to your appointment in WCOnline) within 48 hours after the appointment day.
